Dyalog ’06 - Conference Outline

The Dyalog User Group Conference takes place over the course of five days.

Below we give a brief guide to the schedule and links to separate pages devoted to each of the days.

Training is set to become an integral and important part of the annual Dyalog User Group Conferences, beginning this year with a selection of training courses and master classes. Five individual courses are planned for the Dyalog ’06 User Group Conference, with four on Monday and three on Friday.

Monday 16th: Training Day
The four courses running on Monday are:
  • Office automation with Dyalog: Combining Excel, Word and other tools with Dyalog applications.
  • Integrating with the Microsoft.Net Framework
  • Writing web applications in Dyalog (with and without Microsoft.Net)
  • Introduction to Object Oriented Programming in Dyalog

Tuesday 17th: Main Conference Day 1
On Tuesday there's a host of presentations on product features of the new version of Dyalog plus a look forward to the roadmap.

Also, some clients will share the secrets of their successful applications and/or successful techniques using, or related to, Dyalog.

Wednesday 18th: Main Conference Day 2
The product presentations continue into Wednesday, with conference schedule making room for even more exciting presentations from users of Dyalog.

Thursday 19th: Array Language Day
On Thursday, we have invited users of other array languages to join us for an “Array Language Day”. There will be presentations from vendors and/or users of APL2000, APLX, Dyalog, and K.

Friday 20th: Second Training Day
The three courses running on Friday are:

  • Using Databases from Dyalog: ODBC, ADO or ADO.Net?
  • Integrating with the Microsoft.Net Framework
  • Introduction to Object Oriented Programming in Dyalog
