Axio Imager - 100% relaxation and comfort

Axio Imager has a unique operating concept that greatly simplifies user access to the instrument's numerous functions - technology that can be operated intuitively, irrespective of whether it is manual or motorised. The aim is to maximise comfort and reduce strain and allow you to concentrate fully on your application - vital when using the microscope for long periods.

The touch screen – key information at a glance
To simplify complex steps, the motorised Axio Imager has all its functions grouped together on a touch screen (TFT) display. For the first time you can control all the motorised components merely at the touch of a button or see at-a-glance the microscope’s status. The integrated light manager constantly ensures the best possible light and contrast setting and, in addition to fixed presettings, it is also possible to store complex procedures and retrieve them at any time with just the touch of a button. It's the perfect way to ensure that Axio Imager runs smoothly in a multi-user environment.

The control buttons – everything within easy reach
All Axio Imager's control buttons are arranged ergonomically around the focusing drive. Distinguishing them is not a problem, thanks to their tactile surfaces. The motorised offers 10 buttons whose functions can be freely configured. The manual stand has 5 pre-configured buttons which allow a simple adjustment of light intensity and the switching of the motorised shutters in reflected and transmitted light.

The control panel – freely positionable
You don't even have to sit down for Axio Imager! It may be remotely controlled from a separate control panel that includes a focusing drive and brightness regulator. You can also pre-programme functions of your choice. The panel offers an interface for the TFT and for the x- and y-control of the motorised stage.

The Ergotube – ideal viewing
The new 50-15-50 Ergotube offers 50 mm height adjustment, a fixed viewing angle of 15° (which is ergonomically ideal) and an eyepiece extension of 50 mm to satisfy the highest ergonomic standards. You can work in the most relaxed posture, no matter how long. To view a short animation of the Ergotube, click here (4MB).
