AMG Systems Ltd. announces that they have won 2 major projects in Bahrain in the Middle East. Both projects are implemented by AMPS Bahrain’s premier Technology Integrator and Solution Provider.
The “Arad Bay” project is a new conservation project - initiated by the Government of Bahrain - aimed at protecting the natural habitat of migratory birds. The Government simultaneously want to create awareness among the public and the project includes the creation of a 3.5km long walkway along the boundaries of the back waters of Arad in order to allow the public and bird watchers access to the area. The project further includes 2 pedestrian bridges. One bridge links to Arad’s eastern side and the other connects to the airport garden on the western side.
The other project is for “Sitra Ports Authority”. This is a high security area covering a coast line of 2.5km. The CCTV system will provide valuable information to the Ports Authority of Bahrain on the various activities in this area on a 24x7 basis.
General Manager for AMPS Mr. M Jaishankar says, “We have chosen AMG systems for both projects because of their products robustness and reliability. In both cases we’re using fibre, something the Arad Bay project in particular benefits from, as the walkway is more than 3.5 km”.
