29 April 2008 - AMG Systems Ltd. announces that it will launch a new range of analogue and digital wireless transmission products at IFSEC 2008. Today’s announcement follows AMG’s breakthrough in spring 2006 when it launched the AMG 3700 series, the world’s first fibre optic transmission system to integrate Ethernet with high quality uncompressed video.
Skywave™ will be available for both single and multi-camera systems. The product series can transmit video, RS485 data, un-directional audio and alarm contacts.
In connection with the announcement today, founder and MD of AMG Systems, Alan Hayes, says, “We have found an increasing requirement for wireless transmission capabilities particularly in the transportation sector where there is an increased use of wireless CCTV cameras for certain applications. I do however, also see security applications where wireless technology will fit in.”
With its large international audience IFSEC has proved the ideal place for AMG to launch new products over the past few years. AMG will be showcasing Skywave™ in Hall 19, Stand number 18126 where visitors will be able to see a live demo.
